My name is Gayle Arrighi. I'm 54 years old. I have two sons 32 & 28. I'm the proud grandmother of a 3 year little girl. I'm a physical education teacher for the Bridgewater-Raynham school system. I've been physically active my entire life. My main interests are running, walking, bike riding, bodypump, spinning, and dancing on the weekends. LOL !!! I love all sports.
Over the years I've joined several gyms and tried many different forms of exercise and classes. None compare to the Strength Studio. I joined when it opened in 2009. I absolutely love it. The instructors are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and give each client individual attention. You feel part of a family and all are extremely friendly and helpful.
The class concept and facility satisfies all your needs. Bodypump takes care of all body toning along with cardio. Spinning is insane. You'll never get a better workout. Kick & chisel is the total workout. Pilates, Step, Boot Camp, BodyStep, BodyBlast, and Zumba........What more can you ask for. They're always coming up with new ideas and challenges. They stay current and offer many different classes throughout the year concerning diet and exercise. More importantly its FUN !!!
Its been almost a year since I joined. My main goal for becoming a SS member was to tone, be consistent with my workouts, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I've exceeded all my goals. Last May my team won the "Amazing Race Challenge." Being one of the oldest members it was a great accomplishment. I owe that to the Strength Studio. Joining last October was the best thing I've done for myself in years. I've never felt better. I'm one of their biggest fans !!!

My name is Kara Gingell. My life has literally changed since meeting Lauren and Jill two years ago.
I had heard about a new fitness group called Moms with Muscle and for some reason I knew I had to
participate. I was very overweight, very self conscious, tired all the time, moody and pretty much had no
enthusiasm about my life. I am a mom of three awesome kids, but my weight was getting in the way of me
enjoying them. I knew it was time to do something so I called Lauren and met her right away. I will never
forget that first day I stepped out on the Bridgewater Raynham track. Embarassed and extremely
nervous...I couldn't even run half way around the track. I thought I was going to die...but Lauren was so
kind, fun and so non-judgemental. She helped me work out at my pace and level without making me feel
self conscious or awkward.
I am proud to say that I can run 4 miles now on a regular basis...and I truly find it fun!! Something about my
readiness to change my life and the chemistry I feel between Lauren, Jill and myself has brought me to
where I am today. I am the healthiest and most fit I have ever been in my life.
I have lost almost 50 pounds, dropped four pant sizes and lost so many inches that I've lost count. I am
confident and energetic. I truly have a new lease on life. I love who I have become and am so very proud of
myself for all of my accomplishments both physically and in my personal life.
My name is Christy Bustard and I’ve lost 30 pounds since joining the Strength
Studio in January 2010. But that number doesn’t even begin to tell you how
wonderful my transformation feels!
After having two kids and endless amounts of ice cream while pregnant, my body
was in tough shape. I saw pictures of myself (always in the background) and was
disgusted by what I saw. I tried some of the most popular diets but couldn’t really
stick with them for any length of time because I still felt crappy. My best friend had
joined the Strength Studio in the fall of ’09 and told me how much she loved it. So
as my 35th birthday present to myself I decided to join the Strength Studio and
dedicate some time each week to getting my body back.
The results have been far better that I had even hoped for. Yes, I’ve lost good
amount of weight, but I’m also down four sizes in my jeans and I feel GREAT! I’m
stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. I can pick up my girls easily and actually
enjoy running around the yard with them. I’m also a healthier person now; I pay
attention to what I eat because I’m on a better path now. I still enjoy treats, but now
I savor them and moderation is much easier for me.
Everyone knows they should exercise more and eat healthier, but what I didn’t know
was that I would fall in LOVE with working out at The Strength Studio. The
atmosphere is supportive and friendly, with all levels of fitness working out
together. You’ll see women who are just starting on their journey working out
alongside some of us that have been here for awhile. The instructors care about
everyone and are excellent at giving modification instructions to suit everyone’s
different needs.
Another thing worth mentioning about the instructors; they are going to know who
you are, they will give encouragement and support when you need it, and will truly
care about how you are feeling or accommodating any weakness or previous
injuries you may have, they’ll also be there to push you along (no slacking allowed
around here). You won’t just be a nameless face to them.
My wish is that every woman could experience the strength, empowerment and
happiness that attending the Strength Studio has given me. Make a commitment to
yourself, you deserve it. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have
about a member’s perspective or just say hello. See you there!
My name is Maria Sheppard, I have been working out a the SS for just about one year, but my real
journey started out back with Moms with Muscle in April 2009
We met at the EB track and I was very unmotivated, unhealthy, and lacking self-confindence. I
remember thinking "Why am I here?". I did not have a good attitude and gave up more times than I
would like to admit, but I continued to come back week after week.
One day I realized how far I had come, not to mention how much fun I was having working out. Jill
and Lauren are amazing women, who are motivating, and know how to have fun at the same time.
When The Strength Studio opened I could not wait to join, I have never in my life been so excited
about working out! NEVER!
One year later, I am so excited about my results not only the weight loss but my overall health. I
am so much more energetic, a better mom, a better wife and just feel so good. Oh and did I
mention that I turned 40 this year and ran in my very first Falmouth Road Race (7 miles) and
finished not only with a smile but with a respectable time too!?! I can not thank everyone at the
TSS enough for all they do. It is truly amazing what you can do when you stay strong!!! Thank
you to all of you at the TSS.
