What does my
assessment provide?

Body Mass Index (BMI)
A number calculated from a person's
weight and height. BMI is used to
screen for weight categories that may
lead to future health problems.

Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR)
An important tool that helps you
determine your overall health risk.
People with more weight around their
waist are at greater risk of lifestyle
related diseases such as heart
disease and diabetes than those with
weight around their hips.

Body Composition
Measures the body’s relative amount
of fat to fat-free mass

A note about the scale:  Your body
weight does not determine your
“size”.  This is yet another number
that we can gauge your progress by,
but it is just that, a number.  Please
do not get hung up on what the scale
says.  This is one of the reasons we
look at your body composition and
take measurements.  The scale may
not be moving, but successive
assessments will show that you are
getting leaner, stronger, and healthier!
Your Health Assessment

One of our missions at the The Strength Studio is to help you take charge of your health.

A good place to start is by taking a close look at where you are now by getting
a health assessment.

Together we will look at several factors which will help you determine your risk for chronic
disease.  Assessments are also a way for you to measure your progress and see how
effective your exercise and nutrition plan is.

This is your way to hold yourself accountable to your goals of living a healthier life!
What should I expect at my

accurate if 1-2 hours have elapsed since the last
time you consumed any food or beverage.
