All trainers of The Strength Studio are required to be Power of 10 certified to ensure that they can safely and effectively train clients in our method.
Hector Sanchez - Owner & Super Slow + Power of 10 Instructor
Soccer enthusiast and athlete for life, 17 years and counting of strength training experience and passionate about changing people's lives through strength training. Hector was turned onto the SuperSlow method by a friend. Once Hector learned the science behind the method, he was hooked, giving up a secure job with the union in construction to work in this field of exercise where he has the power to change people's lives.
Leonela Santiago - Co-owner & Power of 10 Instructor
Former competitive swimmer and water polo player and passionate about the role strength plays in health. After exclusively using strength training as her exercise during her second pregnancy and seeing a complete difference in her recovery from c=section compared to the first, she knew it Power of 10 strength training was something she wanted everyone to know about. Leonela holds a B.A. in Communication from UC Davis and works in business administration and communications for The Strength Studio and is also a certified Power of 10 instructor.
Sara Belland - Power of 10 Instructor
Former soccer player and passionate about using strength to recover health and vitality. Sara began as a client and after seeing the role that strength training played in recovering her health, she knew she wanted to help others discover the power of strength training through the Power of 10 method. Sara's passion for the method and personal experience helps her connect with her clients' overall goals as she guides them through their workouts.
Hilary Burns - B.A. Kinesiology, NASM and TRX certified & Power of 10 Instructor (2018)
Cal State Stanislaus graduate with a degree in Kinesiology, Hilary is a former athlete who has had a love of exercise ever since she was a young child doing exercise videos with her mom in their living room. She joined the strength team in 2018 and although she already knew the importance of strength in health from her degree, she has now learned how the Power of 10 method is the safest way to achieve these health benefits and uses her combined knowledge to train clients.
