Get Stronger for Recreation or Sport
In any given sport or recreational activity, it goes without saying that the stronger you are, the better your will be.
All sport and recreation are made up of three components:
You can’t do anything about your genetics but you can do something about your skill level and the strength and conditioning you need to support that activity.
When you’re strong, you have greater volitional control, cardiovascular output, dexterity, range of motion, balance, energy, endurance, and more.
If you focus 2/3 of your effort on safely developing the strongest body possible and then 1/6 on skill and 1/6 on sport-specific conditioning, then you should have the ingredients to become an exceptional athlete. The key is to avoid burn-out and overuse injuries.
Rather than focus on quantity, focus on quality and incorporate full rest between trainings to ensure nothing interferes with muscle growth.
If you’re willing to approach your athleticism from an out-of-the-box perspective, we can help you on your journey.
